It was Amsterdam’s gay pride the other day, always a big celebration; you know the kind, floats on the canal and thousands of people on the streets. For the third year running JBAG was back at Paradiso to deejay at the UltraSexi party with resident Delfos – one of Holland’s best kept secret (ready to blow up). After last year’s rocking set from Mark Moore, who better to fill in his boots than another London legend? Tasty Tim’s 25 years deejaying experience makes him one of the most sought-after djs on the global gay scene – and the make-up still isn’t running! Ran by Dick Koopman and Jordi Ariza Gallego, the MultiSexi, Ultra Violet and UltraSexi nights have been shaking the foundations of the liberal Dutch city for a few years now. Polysexual, up-for-it, friendly and imaginative, their mixed crowd unquestionably gathers the most colourful characters in town. That’s not all, in parallel the pair has been promoting Fuckin’ Pop Queers to great response (pop with resident Yuki) and is now launching Toxic! (techno with resident Cleo). There’s even talks of Dick & Jordi opening their own club, now that’s sure to boost Amsterdam’s clubbing.
