Hamburger with olive tapenade and pesto
You all at least once, had the really good idea to invite your friends to test a meal you have never cooked before… What a panic when 2 hours before your guest arrival, you open a cookbook and you think “I don’t understand a thing”! Helsinki based photographer Marina Ekroos would have saved your dinner. She had a clever idea, she realized the picture that every single cookbook should have to illustrate their recipes. Marina Ekroos captures every step of a recipe in one photograph. This serie of images is definitly usefull for cookers in progress, but is above all such a beautiful pictures and such a lovely way to display food.
She might have been influenced by the Scandinavian photographer Carl Kleiner on the Ikea’s baking book, where he displayed raw ingredients in a geometric way.
Let’s get ready for a cooking lesson!
