a magic place ? Don’t believe in magic in a city like Paris – have to look back in time. I guess “le trou des Halles” (blank space  before terrible Forum des Halles was built) was probably close to magic. Empty/changing spaces are good for creativity.

a anecdote / story ? A shooting for a magazine we did in an abandoned metro station on boulevard du crime. had to hide not to be seen by trains that were passing every three minutes and had to be quick to take the pictures in the meantime – with a sunday morning hang over.
