Peter & The Magician “Memory” EP Out Now! + Interview

Peter (aka Yuksek) & The Magician are back in the game with their second EP “Memory” out now on Kitsuné!

They’ve always kept in mind a common desire to mix their styles and influences in order to create something new and unheard. Their first EP “Twist” out last June on Kitsuné was already a huge success and caused quite a stir all around the world!

Their single “Memory” is a dancefloor stomper and proves one more time that they share many influences and a mutual love for italo disco and electro beats.
The package also contains three exclusive remixes by the colourful Le Crayon, the mysterious NSFW and the funky POINDEXTER who was revealed on Kitsuné’s latest compilation Kitsuné AMERICA.

An amazing and summery package which will create havoc in every club, no doubt about that!

We met Peter & The Magician for a little chat about their collaboration.

How was the project “Peter & The Magician” born?
We met two years ago at Calvi On the Rocks festival and thought it would be interesting to spend some time in the studio together, sharing our influences and mixing our music.

How would you define your style?
Electro, pop and disco

What’s your best memory together?
Those euphoria nights when we were composing, especially that evening when we finished our first EP “Twist” and some friends came by like Clément from ALB, Guillaume from The Shoes… they all played a little something on each track. It was kind of family -like !

Any long-term plans for your Peter & The Magician collaboration?
Continue to enjoy making music together, release new EPs, do some djing and mixing… And why not release an album one day
