ASSISTANT MANAGER

 

JOB OBJECTIVES

Support Store Manager in all tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the store.
Provide prompt and courteous service to customers in order to maximize sales as well as customer service in order to promote the company’s image of quality and professionalism.

 

STATUS

Reports directly to the Store Manager and works closely with the Area/ District Manager.

 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supports Management Team in the supervision of Retail Stylists and all other store-level employees ;
  • Represents an integral part of the store team and through his/ her participation creates a healthy and pleasant atmosphere, in which employees are motivated to achieve company goals and surpass their personal sales goals ;
  • Maximizes personal and store sales by providing the highest level of customer satisfaction ;
  • Ensures that all employees comply with company policies, practices and procedures.

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Ensures that all personnel practice professional salesmanship according to company policies and procedures, in order to achieve maximum sales and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction ;
  • Supports the Store Manager in all essential duties necessary for the efficient operation of the store ;
  • Supports the Store Manager in ensuring the store operates within its predetermined budget ;
  • Adheres to and enforces loss prevention and security policies, credit policies and procedures, i.e. credit cards, discounts, employee purchases, deposit logs, return and exchange policies;
  • Ensures that all merchandise is properly ticketed and attractively displayed;
  • Communicates stock replenishment needs to Store Manager;
  • Assists in training Retail Stylists and Sales Supervisors in product knowledge, visual presentation, sales techniques and administration of cash duties ;
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager;
  • Enforces and complies with all store/ company policies, practices and procedures.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • College or University degree in Marketing, Administration, Business, or equivalent experience ;
  • 1-2 years in Retail Management and selling experience (in retail fashion, an asset) ;
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate people in order to achieve sales objectives ;
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, verbal/ written) ;
  • Strong proficiency with computers (primarily MS Office) ;
  • Service oriented with a high interest in fashion ;
  • Team oriented ;
  • Willing to work retail hours ;
  • Willing to relocate according to company’s needs ;
  • Physical requirements: able to bend, climb ladders, lift and move boxes up to 35 lb (≈16 kg).

 

SALES SUPERVISOR

 

JOB OBJECTIVE

Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in all tasks necessary to the efficient operation of the store and assist with the coaching of Retail Stylists to maximize sales by providing prompt and courteous service to customers and promoting the company’s image of quality and professionalism.

 

STATUS

Reports directly to the Store Manager and works closely with the Assistant and Area/ District Managers.

 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Supports Management Team in the supervision of Retail Stylists and all other store-level employees (non-mgmt) ;
  • Represents an integral part of the store team and through his/ her participation creates a healthy and pleasant atmosphere, in which employees are motivated to achieve company goals and surpass their personal sales goals ;
  • Maximizes personal and store sales by providing the highest level of customer satisfaction ;
  • Ensures that all employees comply with company policies, practices and procedures.

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Adheres to and enforces loss prevention and security policies, credit policies and procedures, i.e. credit cards, discounts, employee purchases, deposit logs, return and exchange policies ;
  • Ensures that all merchandise is properly ticketed and attractively displayed and maintains the section(s) that he/ she is responsible for in accordance with company standards ;
  • Communicates stock replenishment needs to Store and Associate Managers ;
  • Enforces and complies with all store/ company policies, practices and procedures.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent formal education ;
  • 1 year retail selling experience (in retail fashion, an asset) ;
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate people to achieve sales objectives ;
  • Excellent communication (verbal/ written) and customer service skills ;
  • Service oriented with a high interest in fashion ;
  • Team oriented ;
  • Willing to work retail hours ;
  • Willing to relocate according to company’s needs;
  • Physical requirements: able to bend, climb ladders, lift and move boxes up to 35 lb (≈16 kg).
